Afghani Chicken karahi

 







INGREDIENTS:


Tamatar (Tomatoes) 5 medium

-Water ½ Cup

-Cooking oil ½ Cup

-Chicken mix boti 750g

-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) deseeded & julienne 5-6

-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste

-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 & ½ tsp

-Garam masala powder ½ tsp

Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

-Adrak (Ginger) julienne

-Fresh cream 2 tblspn

Method:

-Cut tomatoes in half and fry for just 2 seconds

-Add water and bring it boil,cover the lid and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes,remove tomato skin, and let them cool.In blender jug,add tomatoes, and make it puree and put aside

-In a pan add cooking oil.

-Then add chicken  and mix well until it changes color.

-Add ginger garlic paste,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

-Add green chillies,and mix well 

-Then add tomato puree and mix well cook for 10  minutes or until oil separates.

-Add salt,black pepper powder,garam masala powder,mix well & cook for a minute.

-Then add yogurt and mix properly then cover the lid for 5 minutes.then add fresh cream.

-Garnish Afghani karahi with fresh coriander and lemon and its ready to serve.
